Valencia, October 10th, 2022 - Impact Investing entails more than just the exclusion criteria in the investment process. It also includes the intention to create a measurable positive social and/or environmental impact alongside the generation of a financial return.
Impact Investing is becoming increasingly important along all asset classes, including the venture capital industry. However, the term impact is often confused with charity and philanthropy. Therefore, it is essential to inspire and guide the venture capital industry about the opportunities that investing in impact-driven companies brings. With that in mind, Social Nest Foundation and Casa do Impacto present Fi Gathering Lisbon, an in presence event targeted at VC fund managers, family offices that are LPs in VC funds, angel investors and high-net-worth individuals.
Fi Gathering Lisbon will be held on October 31st, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm (Lisbon Time), at Casa do Impacto, in Convento de São Pedro de Alcântara (Tv. de São Pedro 8, 1200-432 Lisbon), with the goal of inspiring VC investors to share their experiences in deploying capital towards impact-driven companies, and educating VC investors as to what an impact-driven company is, and to show that it is possible to achieve a financial return while at the same time generating a positive impact.
