Fi Gathering Madrid: putting the spotlight on impact investing

· From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on November 22nd, the first edition of Fi Gathering Madrid will be held in Madrid, an event organized by Social Nest Foundation for the purpose of inspiring asset owners toward impact investing and the existing opportunities in this sector.

· It will take place in person at the IE Tower - IE University (24th floor of IE Tower - IE University, P.º de la Castellana, 259.

· The goal is to connect investors with investment opportunities at national level and to discover emerging opportunities at international level. Family offices, wealth advisors and high net worth individuals will also get training on financial vehicles and strategies for supporting initiatives that aim to generate a positive impact on society and a better future for all.

Valencia, On November 11th - November 22nd, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, the first edition of Fi Gathering Madrid will be held in Madrid, an event aimed at inspiring asset owners toward impact investing and the existing opportunities in this sector. The event is being organized by Social Nest Foundation, a global platform with over a decade of experience promoting, guiding and supporting entrepreneurs and impact investors, the Impact Bridge-IE Chair in Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing and the IE Center for Families in Business.

The Fi Gathering Madrid will take place in person at IE Tower - IE University (24th floor of the IE Tower - IE University, P.º de la Castellana, 259). The goal of the gathering is to connect investors with investment opportunities at national level and to discover emerging opportunities at international level. Family offices, wealth advisors and high net worth individuals will also get training on financial vehicles and strategies for supporting initiatives that aim to generate a positive impact on society and a better future for all.

Over the course of the event, discussions will be held on how to align wealth with values on a capital continuum that spans from sustainable investments to impact investments, while taking into account a spectrum of financial returns and social and environmental impact interests. The ways family offices and wealth advisors might manage investments towards positive impact will also be presented. The gathering will come to a close with a networking session for building an international community of high-impact investors.

The Fi Gathering Madrid is one part in a series of face-to-face events aimed at community-building within specific ecosystems in Europe and emerging markets, with a spotlight on different investor profiles. The first of these gatherings took place last June in Amsterdam with the aim of putting Spanish and Latin American startups and impact funds into contact with the Dutch ecosystem. The most recent gathering held on October 31 in Lisbon -in conjunction with Web Summit 2022- was geared toward the venture capital industry.
