Social Nest launches Fi Series, a series of online events leading up to its annual impact investing forum
Valencia, Spain, May 6th, 2021 - Fi Series is a series of free live-streamed events that will set the stage for Fi21 Impact Investing Forum in September 2021. Taking place in May and July, these virtual sessions of educational and inspirational content will feature cross-sector impact investing leaders presenting and debating the role of impact investing in the building of a better and sustainable future.
Promoted by Social Nest Foundation, a pioneering entity in the promotion of entrepreneurship and impact investing in Spain, Fi Series is part of Fi initiative, which also includes the above mentioned investor-only annual forum, focused in its 2021 edition on the opportunities for impact investing in responding to the global challenges in a post-Covid era. Fi21, a key appointment for private and institutional investors, financial advisors and philanthropists with a concern to align their capital with their values, will take place virtually on September 28th to 30th. Previous speakers for the forum include: Sir Ronald Cohen (Global Steering Group), Amit Bouri (Global Impact Investing Network), Raúl Pomares (Sonen Capital) or Gillian Diesen (Pictet Group).
Each of the two Fi Series scheduled for this year will specially address the interests of a specific investor profile. The first Fi Series: “Institutional capital: driving change towards a sustainable future”, on May 25th at 3pm (CEST), will focus on trends in sustainable and impact investing from institutional investors, presenting different case studies for discussion. Attendees will hear from institutional investors and asset managers about their different approaches in deploying capital that reaches sustainability and impact outcomes. They will also know about the challenges and opportunities that institutional investors face and their perspective on the future of the sustainable investment industry.
The event will count with the participation of Alice Chapple, Director of Impact Value; Iker Barron, CEO of Portocolom; Brunno Maradei, Global Head of Responsible Investment at Aegon Asset Management; Paul Hailey, Head of Impact of responsAbility Investments AG; and Margarita Albors, President of Social Nest Foundation The session will be moderated by Monica Vasquez Del Solar, Head of Business Development and Partnerships at Social Nest Foundation. The second Fi Series, on July 8th, will be dedicated to individual investors and Family Offices.
