Partners co-creating a key space in the innovation ecosystem

There is one part of the ecosystem that is rarely talked about, but that determines almost everything that ends up happening afterwards: how partnerships are built.

From the outside, it seems simple. You identify an event, it fits with your positioning, you sponsor it and you enter the circuit. It is a fairly standardised process and, in many cases, enough.

But when you look at it from the inside, you realise that this rarely translates into concrete results for the business.

Because being present is one thing, and using that space to activate opportunities is something very different.

In our case, this can be seen in how The Gap in Between is built from the start.

It is not an environment designed only to provide visibility.

It is a space where some organisations are already working on how to connect with startups, investors and other actors they do not usually coincide with in the same context.

And that is where the approach changes.

It is not about taking part in something that has already been defined, but about entering a process where you can activate your own agenda: identifying concrete challenges, opening relevant conversations and generating collaboration opportunities with key actors.

It is a space where some organisations are already working on how to connect with startups, investors and other actors they do not usually coincide with in the same context.

Organisations such as Hijos de Rivera, Agua NEA, Central Lechera Asturiana (CAPSA), First Drop, SpainNAB, Zubi Capital, Zubi Group and others are already getting involved in this process from the start.

But it does not happen automatically.

It requires intention, continuity and a certain level of involvement even before the event takes place.

When that happens, the space stops being a one-off meeting point and becomes an environment where conversations are generated that end up becoming something more.

That is where we are focusing our attention. On working with organisations that want to use this space actively, as part of their strategy, and not only as a visibility channel.

That is the type of partner we are looking for to co-build The Gap in Between 2026.

If this resonates with you, write to me and we can see whether it makes sense to build something together.
