Social Nest Foundation partners with ChangeNOW to bring in the perspective of impact investing in Latam
ChangeNOW Summit, the world’s largest event for the planet, brings together the most innovative solutions and impactful changemakers tackling our planet’s biggest challenges, to take action, together. The 3-day international conference builds bridges between the entrepreneurs, business leaders and policy-makers to accelerate change, with more than 1.000 concrete solutions, 500 visionary speakers, and 800 impact investors from 120 countries.
We are very excited to be Partners of ChangeNOW 2022 (Paris and online, May 19-21), and organisers of the panel "Impact investors in Latin America: Driving the change towards a better future", with Rodrigo Villar, Director of New Ventures Mexico; Tina Ruchti, Investment Director of Elea Foundation; and Margarita Albors, Founder and President of Social Nest Foundation. The session will be facilitated by Nathalie Nebelius, Member Engagement Manager at Toniic.
Latin America shows one of the highest income inequality levels in the world, according to the World Economic Forum. The limited access to healthcare and sanitation, low level of water management, and lack of communications connectivity are also important issues for the region that are being made worse by the pandemic. More and more entrepreneurs are working on business solutions to address those challenges and need funding. Therefore, impact investors play an important role to guide the change. This panel will focus on experienced impact investors in the region sharing their experiences.
Join us on May 20 to find out what are the challenges and opportunities for impact investors in Latam, what are the best practices providing funding and support to impact-driven companies in the region, and why is a good opportunity for European asset owners to mobilize capital towards Latin America.
The panel is part of the investors program of the event: Finance for Change, a special track for purpose-driven investors. For more information, visit www.changenow-summit.world.
